The move follows more than thirteen years of sustained growth for the wealth advisory firm and will bring new insights to client portfolios.

Andrew has been working in the financial industry for more than 8 years and was working as a financial planner for a local credit union’s wealth management division. ARCC presents Overview of Regional Economic Conditions with the New York Fed

ARCC - GF National Event

GLENS FALLS, NY – The Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce invites you to a presentation on regional economic conditions by Federal Reserve Bank of New York economist Jason Bram. Jason is an economic research advisor and research officer, within the Regional Analysis Function at the New York Fed. His research and analysis focus on the U.S. economy, with a primary emphasis on the Federal Reserve’s Second District, which includes New York State, northern New Jersey, and southwestern Connecticut, as well as Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Jason’s presentation will provide an overview of economic conditions in the Second District, with a focus on business activity and the labor market in Upstate New York.

The event will be held at The Queensbury Hotel, located at 88 Ridge Street in downtown Glens Falls, on Wednesday, November 30th from 9:30 – 11:30 am.

Registration opens at 9:30 am and the program will begin at 10:00 am with welcoming remarks from Tom Murphy, President and CEO of Arrow Financial Corporation and Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Company, and Shawn Phillips, head of External Engagement at the New York Fed. Following the presentation, Jason will answer questions from the audience about the regional economy.

WARREN COUNTY SHERIFF

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shots fired incident that occurred on Main St in the area of Richardson St in the Town of Queensbury just before 4 a.m. on Saturday Oct 22. It is believed to be an isolated incident and based upon the preliminary investigation it is not believed anyone specific was targeted. No injuries were reported. The subjects involved are believed to have been riding in a dark colored sedan. If anyone has any information or knows the subjects you are asked to reach out to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division and ask to speak to Investigator Morse, 518-743-2500 option 1. If you wish to remain anonymous you can leave a tip at 518-761-9800.

On Sunday Oct 23 at approximately 8:38 p.m. the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to Main Street in the Town of Queensbury for a report of a two-car personal injury crash involving a North Warren Emergency Squad ambulance. The crash occurred when 67-year-old Donald K. VanVleet of Queensbury failed to yield the right of way to the emergency vehicle which was operating in an emergency capacity. Due to VanVleet’s actions, a crash occurred. A member of the North Warren Emergency Squad was transported to Glens Falls Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. At the time of the crash, a patient was in the rear of the ambulance being transported to Glens Falls Hospital. The patient did not sustain any injuries as a result of the crash.

HUDSON FALLS — Kathy J. Genier, 52, passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 24, 2022, after a brief illness.

Born May 22, 1970, in Ticonderoga, NY, she was the daughter of Carolyn Gadway and the late Michael Ezzo.

Kathy was a graduate of Glens Falls High School. She had a passion for animals and fishing. She also enjoyed feeding the birds and the squirrels eventually joined. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Kathy was a ball of charisma and personality. She was always there to help anyone in need, at the drop of a hat. She had many friends who thought the world of her. She will be dearly missed by everyone who crossed her path.

In addition to her father, Kathy was predeceased by her nephew, Jeffrey Selleck and niece, Jenna Whiteway.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Carolyn Gadway and stepfather, Art Gadway of South Glens Falls; her brother, Jeff Genier of Glens Falls; her sisters, Kim (Scott) Mowry of Palm Bay, FL, Teresa (Dan) Schaefer of Halfmoon, Michelle (Robert) Holmes of Hudson Falls and Shannon Plude of South Glens Falls; her longtime partner, Jeannie Williams; her children, Josh, Amber and Jeremy; her grandchildren, Kendyl, Kae’lyn, Kal’leigh and Kassi’dee; her beloved husky, Loki; nieces, Ashley and Alicia Genier, Amber and Alyssa Whiteway, and Sierra Demher (Tyler); nephews, Robbie Giordano, Justin Selleck, and Brandon and Cameron Plude; also several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Arrow Reports $12.2 million in Q3 Net Income, Loan Growth of $80 Million in the Quarter

GLENS FALLS, NY – Arrow Financial Corporation (NasdaqGS® – AROW) announced financial results for the three-month period ended September 30, 2022. Net income for the third quarter of 2022 was $12.2 million and diluted earnings per share was $0.74.  Loan growth and deposit growth were both strong in the quarter, increasing by $80 million and $249 million, respectively.
