WARREN COUNTY SHERIFF

On Dec. 6, 2022, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office arrested Isaiah N. Gregory, 22, of Glens Falls in connection with a robbery that took place nearly a month earlier. On Nov. 9, Gregory entered the Cumberland Farms store on Quaker Rd. in Queensbury, disguised his appearance, brandished a handgun at the clerk, forcibly stole money and fled the scene. Through the course of the ongoing investigation, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit developed information and leads which linked Gregory to the robbery. He was charged with one count of 1st Deg. Robbery and arraigned at Warren County CAP Court and remanded to the Warren County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 cash bail / $50,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Queensbury Town Court on December 12, 2022 at 9:00am. The case was investigated by members of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division and Criminal Investigations Unit.

On Dec. 7, 2022, the Warren County Sheriff’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit arrested Sara M. Seymour of Queensbury for selling Methamphetamine in Lake George and Bail Jumping for failure to appear on pending felony charges out of Queensbury. During a joint investigation conducted by the Warren and Saratoga County Sheriff’s Offices, Seymour sold Methamphetamine to a police informant on two separate occasions during a controlled drug buy operation. Following her arrest, it was discovered that Seymour had bench warrants out of Queensbury and Lake George Town Courts for failing to appear on felony charges of Identity Theft and Grand Larceny. Seymour failed to show up for court proceedings on at least 4 separate court dates, all of which Seymour was released upon her own recognizances. Seymour was charged with two counts of 5th Deg. Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance, a class D Felony, and 2nd Deg. Bail Jumping, also a class D Felony. She was arraigned at Warren County Court for the drug charges and remanded to the custody of the Warren County Correctional Facility for lack of $10,000 cash bail / $30,000 bond. Seymour was later taken before CAP court for arraignment on the Bail Jumping charge and bail was set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.

WARREN COUNTY SHERIFF

On Nov. 30, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office arrested Andrew S. Teal, 24, of Queensbury, on one felony count of 2nd Deg. Assault and one misdemeanor count of 4th Deg. Criminal Possession of a Weapon. On Nov. 28, at approximately 12:30pm, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office investigated an assault on Angel Ln. in the Town of Queensbury. Based on the investigation, Teal got into an altercation with a male acquaintance and stabbed the subject with a knife. The victim was transported and treated at the Glens Falls Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Teal was arraigned at Warren County CAP Court and remanded to the Warren County Correctional Facility for lack of $7,500 cash bail / $15,000 bond. The investigation was conducted by members of the Warren County Sheriff’s Patrol Division and Criminal Investigations Unit.

WARREN COUNTY SHERIFF

On Nov. 22, 2022 at approximately 11:30am, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a domestic incident which had occurred earlier in the evening at 3328 State Route 9, Apartment 10, in the Town of Lake George. Upon a police investigation it was determined that Trey M. Laraway, 30, of Lake George, had engaged in a violent physical altercation inside of the residence with a female. Laraway was arrested and charged with felony counts of 2nd Deg. Strangulation, 2nd Deg. Assault, and Aggravated Family Offense, as well as misdemeanor Unlawful Imprisonment and two counts of 4th Deg. Criminal Mischief. Trey Laraway was arraigned in Court and remanded to the Warren County Correctional Facility for lack of bail.

On Nov. 24, 2022, at approximately 02:40am, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Ridge Rd. and Pilot Knob Rd. in the Town of Queensbury for a report of a one-car property damage motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle, which was unoccupied and crashed into the guardrail off of the southbound lane on Ridge Rd. Officers located the vehicle’s operator–Rachel S. Poladian, 46, of Queensbury–approximately a quarter-mile from the crash scene, and upon further investigation police determined Poladian was intoxicated. Poladian submitted a breath sample at the police station which yielded a .28 of 1% blood alcohol concentration. She was processed for Driving while Intoxicated, Aggravated DWI above a .18, leaving the scene of a property damage motor vehicle accident, and failure to keep right. She was released with an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Queensbury Court on a later date.

WARREN COUNTY SHERIFF

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Cumberland Farms on Quaker Rd. in the Town of Queensbury just after midnight on November 9, 2022. During the robbery, the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. No injuries were reported and the suspect fled the store. On November 9th 2022 at about 4:36 PM, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center received a 911 call in regards to a single-vehicle motor vehicle crash that occurred on Peaceful Valley Rd. approximately 1.5 miles south of State Route 28 in the Town of Johnsburg. Jacob A. Gilbert, 32, of Johnsburg was operating a 2007 Chevrolet Malibu southerly on Peaceful Valley Rd. when the vehicle briefly left the driving lane and the right side of the car began driving on the shoulder. The vehicle then lost control, crossing into the northbound lane and then continued off the road and onto the eastern shoulder. The car then struck a number of trees before overturning and coming to final rest. Gilbert was pronounced deceased at the scene as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. This crash remains under investigation by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Safety Unit and Criminal Investigations Unit. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the North Creek Fire Department as well as Johnsburg Emergency Squad.

WARREN COUNTY SHERIFF

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shots fired incident that occurred on Main St in the area of Richardson St in the Town of Queensbury just before 4 a.m. on Saturday Oct 22. It is believed to be an isolated incident and based upon the preliminary investigation it is not believed anyone specific was targeted. No injuries were reported. The subjects involved are believed to have been riding in a dark colored sedan. If anyone has any information or knows the subjects you are asked to reach out to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division and ask to speak to Investigator Morse, 518-743-2500 option 1. On Sunday Oct 23 at approximately 8:38 p.m. the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to Main Street in the Town of Queensbury for a report of a two-car personal injury crash involving a North Warren Emergency Squad ambulance. The crash occurred when 67-year-old Donald K. VanVleet of Queensbury failed to yield the right of way to the emergency vehicle which was operating in an emergency capacity. Due to VanVleet’s actions, a crash occurred. A member of the North Warren Emergency Squad was transported to Glens Falls Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. At the time of the crash, a patient was in the rear of the ambulance being transported to Glens Falls Hospital. The patient did not sustain any injuries as a result of the crash.

WARREN COUNTY SHERIFF

On Friday Oct. 14 the Warren County Sheriff’s Office arrested Anthony T. Putnam, 33 of Saratoga Springs on one felony count of Burglary in the Third Degree and one felony count of Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree. As part of an ongoing investigation, members of the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit were able to link Putnam to a burglary at a local business in Queensbury via DNA evidence. Putnam was arraigned in Warren County CAP Court and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear at the Queensbury Town Court on a later date.

WARREN COUNTY SHERIFF

On Saturday Oct 8 at approximately 3:41 p.m. the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a single motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Potter Road and West Mountain Road in the Town of Queensbury. Investigators determined that the operator of the vehicle, Michael J. Duell, 27, of Queensbury, was intoxicated. Duell later submitted to a chemical test to determine the alcohol content of his blood, the results of which showed a BAC of .26%. Duell was issued an appearance ticket for Felony Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, Felony Driving While Intoxicated having had a prior conviction within the last 10 years, and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident. Duell is due in Queensbury Town Court at a later date.

On Saturday Oct 8 the Warren County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stolen motor vehicle from the Full Belly Deli located at 2378 State Route 28 in the Town of Johnsburg. During the course of a police investigation it was determined that the vehicle was stolen by a 38-year-old parolee, William J. Blair of Indian Lake. Blair was charged with one felony count of Grand Larceny in the Third Degree and a subsequent parole violation. He was arraigned at the Warren County Centralized Arraignment Court and remanded to the Warren County Correctional Facility. He is scheduled to appear in the Johnsburg Town Court on a later date.
