Sheriff’s Office Investigating Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Kingsbury

According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, on August 26th, 2023, at 10:17 AM, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single motorcycle crash on State Route 4 in the Town of Kingsbury just north of Green Barn Road.  

Upon units arriving on scene, Deputies located a single motorcycle off the road into a ditch… The preliminary investigation shows the operator of the motorcycle, Kenneth R. Fish, was traveling south on State Route 4, when he went off the roadway and struck a DOT speed limit sign before coming to rest in a ditch… Fish was pronounced deceased on scene. 

A portion of the roadway was closed for a time as the incident was first discovered… The accident remains under investigation as the Sheriff and his supporting team of investigators look into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
